Initially back in 2014 & 2015 when I entered my first 2 Cake International Competitions & won GOLD for my Cupcake Designs, they used to mark the Cupcakes based on the look/design & the taste too...but its not part of the Judging process now. However, 2022 saw the 1st BAKE INTERNATIONAL, but I didn't manage to enter last year. So thought I would throw my hat...well Cake...in the ring this year for a competition yet again judged on taste. I've chosen my flavour combination...I just need to do a practice run & find a few tasting guinea-pigs...any takers?
